About Me

My name is Leigh Moreno.  I am a teacher, coach, and always a student.  I come to education as a second career after retiring from the aviation and transportation field in 2009.  I became an instructional aide and worked with grades K-4 while I finished my Bachelors in Special Education and Interdisciplinary Studies.  During that time, I was primarily working with third and fourth grades.  I then worked one year at the middle school campus as an instructional aide before receiving my first teaching assignment as a third grade teacher. My technology skills led me to the high school campus teaching technology, business and PE to grades 9-12 in 2014.  I continue to work at the high school and thoroughly enjoy what I do.  I am also working on my Masters in Library Science, in hopes to share my love for reading as well as helping others.
