ETEC 527 proved to be one of my favorite all time classes. There was a super group of fellow educators and we were lead by Dr. Bigenho who truly gave helpful insight into the world of educational technology. As a class we have constructed and developed a rubric in order to measure technology to be used in the educational setting. During the span of the four week course, we also dove into the world of Twitter, Protopages, and keep a close eye on our digital footprint. Individually we found a technology tool that was new to us, learned as much as we could about it, created an informational video about it that directly related to the rubric we designed to measure technologies.
After much deliberation with myself between the usefulness of Deck Toys and the high school campus appropriate Mentimeter, I decided to stay true to the instructions of the learning opportunity. This assignment called for learners to choose a technology that we have not used before but yet would like to incorporate into our classes. This is my technology evaluation of Mentimeter.
We developed a collection of sites into a site dashboard or aggregated pages. There are many different page development sites such as Protopage or Avanti. I have included screenshots of my pages here.
